Why I’m Celebrating

The power of celebrating even the smallest successes toward your most vibrant, passion-filled life has great importance. Focusing on what’s going well gives you momentum. Focusing on what’s not keeps you stuck in the same thoughts and beliefs.

This week has been one of those weeks where there are lots of obstacles, circumstances, and navigating others skepticism, negativity, gossip, and stories. I also got sick AGAIN yesterday and was supposed to teach a class today that I was really excited about and had to cancel.

Rather than falling into all of the negativity and frustration myself I just keep focused on what is possible and what action I can take from where I am and the circumstances that are present now. My celebration this week is that I know how to face the “stuff”, look for the lessons in it, be grateful for what’s good and focus on possibility.

I celebrate knowing how to change my beliefs and access a place inside of me that isn’t shaken by outside events or circumstances. A place I can still find goodness, peace, and joy among the obstacles and move forward from there. There’s always an option for a different thought or path.

Navigating my beliefs has allowed so many doors to open. I understand what it’s like to have a dream and feel like it’s totally IMPOSSIBLE to achieve.

  • I dreamed of having the flexibility to travel.
  • I dreamed of spending more time with my partner (we live 120 miles apart and have been communicating for 12 years primarily due to our jobs)

  • I dreamed of having more time to grow a business that supports women become the greatest version of themselves.  To rewrite their stories and achieve their impossible dreams.

  • I dreamed of creating a work schedule that would allow me to do these things.

And I did it.

  • I created a contract that met my financial needs and saved the school district money.

  • I created a flexible schedule.

  • I pitched my proposal to my board and guess what?  They said yes!

  • I’ve grown my business

  • I spend a lot more time with my guy and commute a lot less

I’m not saying this to brag but because it’s possible for you too.

And it all started by shifting my beliefs.

That’s why I’m going live this week in my private Facebook group:  https://tinyurl.com/FBpassion-filledlife with the 3 steps I took to make my dreams of time freedom and flexibility come true.  Come join me.

Xo,

Janelle
